The Panerai Luminor Submersible 1950 BMG-Tech PAM 692 is encased in 47mm of titanium (Bulk Metal Glass alloy) surrounding a blue dial on a blue rubber strap. Features include hours, minutes, sub-seconds, and date. The watch also measures 15mm in thickness and 56.5mm from lug-to-lug.

    Love the advancements Panerai is making with proprietary case materials like BMG and Carbotech. I recently purchased one of these and it makes my Rolex models feel outdated and down right boring. Panerai’s new P.9010 movement is outstanding in that it outperformed the specs at 80 hr power reserve.

    Hello. I’ve used this BMG bezel and I’d disagree, I find it too rudimentary. I much prefer the smoothness of a Rolex dive watch. I’d go as far to say Omega, Rolex, Breitling, IWC and even some Seiko dive watches are better. I’ve never owned a Doxa so can’t comment on the similarity you speak of. Obviously a mater of opinion…
