I remember I was in a elevator at a hospital the first time I saw some rich dude in a suit pull it out days after it’s debut. I was so impressed with how smooth it would unlock by swiping the screen. It was such a game changer in how the daily life of almost everyone would go on to be.

Loved this video, makes you pause for a moment and look at how far tech has come. I think people forget that too much because everyone wants huge improvements every year (at least with smartphones), I don't think people appreciate what is out there right now enough

I actually had the first Android phone on T-Mobile; the T-Mobile G1 and I had the first Samsung phone on T-Mobile as well; the Samsung Vibrant! The Samsung Vibrant came with a free copy of Avatar pre-installed on the device. I even still have the original box and two cases that came with it back at my parent's house

Fun fact: that first iPhone, and 3G, are the only iPhones i ever had.

Also fun fact: there are no second generation iPhone.
3G is their second generation iPhone. Because that first one is called "iPhone 2G" for it operates on 2G connection.
So apple kinda skip a number and ran with it.
