I've always been an Intel guy but all of these new Ryzen chips have me giving AMD the side glances. I think my next build is going to be Ryzen based. Feels kind of crazy haha! But it's damn impressive what they're doing.

I hope their GPUs get as good as their CPUs. Their CPUs are insanely good. I am really satisfied with 2700x. Still, their GPUs are meh. They had a good chance to strike at nvidia with their insane prices of 2000 series, but they just followed along and adopted the same price while bringing nothing new. Feels bad.

I really don't get all the "QQ Intel AMD better" comments, it really pathetic.. at at the end of the day they are both good at different things. Intel still is better for gaming, and that is the biggest portion of the market. I Love LTT vids but the AMD fanboying in the comments on YT and FB is just weird. Just keep it neutral Intel better for gaming AMD better for everything else… Thanks.

This CPU still feels largely irrelevant to me. 16 cores is impressive, but ultimately pointless when it comes to what I use my computer for. The primary use of my computer is gaming, I don't need a 750$ 16 core CPU, nor does any game I or anyone else owns. I'd rather see leaps in single core clock speed than total core count. I've been using a Intel i7 7700k at 4.2Ghz 4 cores and 8 threads for roughly 300$ Against a Ryzen 9 3900x which is 200$ more, with only marginal increases (generally less than 10%) in performance when it comes to gaming.

An impressive CPU for sure, but still not relevant to me or most other gamers. Unless I find myself needing a workstation rather than a gaming rig.

Now if only they would rape invidia as well… Still sitting on the 970 since its launch when performance was still affordable. Not building a new pc untill we get decent graphics again.

woah….I've been an intel fanboy for some time. This is crazy…. All across the board improvements without sacrifice…..Stuff like this is scary in a competitor.

I used to run AMD, then AMD decided they didn't care about fast CPU's.
Went back to being an Intel guy.
Maybe time to look at AMD again, dunno. I kinda got sick of the work arounds with some things that didn't like AMD
