Huawei MatePad Pro 5G | Hands-on | iPad Pro Killer?

W3Schools

Hands-on review with the Huawei MatePad Pro 5G, a fresh 2020 revision of this professional and creative tablet to rival Apple’s iPad Pro. Take a tour of the MatePad Pro 5G specs, features, accessories and more, to see if it’s one of the best alternatives to that iPad.

With its spacious and sharp 10-inch display, this tab is ideal for consuming media, multitasking and creating masterpieces with Huawei’s H-Pencil. Like the Apple tablet, you also get a magnetic keyboard – and both accessories charge wirelessly.

A Kirin 990 5G chipset powers the convertible, giving you smooth performance for media streaming, editing and gaming on the likes of PubG. Plus the MediaPad Pro 2020 should survive a full day of use thanks to the mighty built-in battery.

After my hands-on session, I’m definitely impressed by this premium tab. Hit subscribe so you don’t miss my full Huawei MatePad Pro 5G review, and let me know your thoughts below. Bear in mind that you don’t get Google Play access, so not all of the most popular UK apps will be available to download – just like on the Mate Xs and Mate 30 Pro.

I never understood why manufacturers would remove the headphone jack from a freaking tablet. Now we're getting more boneheaded design decisions like a hole punch display -_-
Huawei never ceases to amaze me.

Chris question for you… Would you say that this Huawei Tablet is better app wise than the Amazon Fire HD 10.1? As far as app choices are concerned? I know you can side load Google PS on but actual app stores on both devices? I hope this makes sense? 👍

I am sure Huawei is expecting the ban to be lifted as China and US agree a trade deal. Otherwise I would not see the point of developing and release such quality hardware when most people in the western world would not be able to use it. Same for the Mate Xs.
