HD Tutorial: Custom Desktop Icons (Request)

In this tutorial, I’ll give a rundown of how and where to get and apply custom downloaded icons to your desktop or your individual folders. This also works for Rocket Dock and Object Dock icons.

Note: This works for folders, but not (as far as I know) for .exe files and others.

    Thanks… also, I use FolderChanger. It's very easy to use, and has many awesome icon changing features. It can even convert your pictures into folder icons. Search "Folderchanger" with google. It works great.

    You should mention this doesn't work for shortcuts or .exe files saved onto your desktop. Unless there's another way that you're not sharing 😀
