My only issue with this one would be the internal storage speeds… I don't mind the plastic, I don't mind the weak WiFI range, I don't mind the medium spec GPU, but the memory speed will affect the performance greatly. The OS will be slugish… I recommend to not buy for anyone who cares to listen to me.

I know that you review a lot of tablets and I know that you know your stuff as I have watched a lot of your videos, but please listen to what I have to say. Do not say that the UI is a bit laggy because of the CPU… It has nothing to do with the CPU or the cores of it. It has to do with the SoC of course, but it's the GPU that it's causing it. So, instead of saying "it's laggy because of the CPU", say "it's laggy, but you can fix that by enabling developer options and enabling forge gpu rendering". No more UI lag! It will use a little bit more ram, but it's worth it.

Never ever buy chuwi products. I buy mine. Now it become trash. Once it's broken you are done. And the rate of broken is high. Worst 350 bucks (including keyboard) I've ever spent. Worst investment ever. Avoid chuwi like a plaque.

Great review. Been waiting for this. All their advertising on Twitter about it. Very disappointed. Thought Chuwi was trying to step up the desirability ladder. Well not with this one.

Both chuwi tablet I bought, Vi7 and Hi8 battery died after 6 months of light usage.
On the hi8,the battery inflated and on the vi7 it stopped retaining it's charge.

Now im glad i didn't take the preorder on banggood.. I got teclast t8 and quite happy on it. For the tint issue you mentioned on t8, i think it didn't appear on my t8 or it's not noticeable by my eyes.. Great reviews like always, thumbs up..
